The ANGELS

So many people have conspired with HP to make this album
not only possible, but also great.  I can’t but we did…and Kleen 2013 is definitely a WE THING.  I have saved writing this page until last because I am a little bit daunted to try to get everyone on here who deserves to be acknowledged.  So, in no particular order, here goes:

Marjie P.  – for all of it.   This album is dedicated to you because it is all about you.

I love you.  Forever.

Lisa E. (Mark & Will)  – For everything you have brought—musically, lyrically, spiritually—to this friendship of ours.  Kleen 2013 is in, many ways, a testament to one of the best friensdships that I have ever had in my life.  I love you, Mark & Will.  Eeyore & Tigger Forever.

Jacque Gentry – Thank you for coming to Asheville to sing on this record and being the BEST sister a fiend like me could ever hope for.

Joyce V. – Without peer, you are our NUMBER ONE fan.  Thank you for all your support.

Mason Hines (and the Hines Clan) – My second family.  I love you all very much and grateful for all you contributed.  My gratitude for continuing and unwavering support when I have grown dark and weary.

Bobby D.  -  Our collaboration for the last 7 years has given birth to most of the songs on this album.  Of all the musicians who have influenced this album, yours has been the greatest.

Chris D., Lei S., Brian A. & Richard T. – Thank you all for helping to grow these songs and me as a musician.  Thank you for tolerating all my ripened defects of character.

Bud S. – Thank you for your direction during Unloaded and for introducing me to Danny.

Gracie & Jerry – You were the right angel at the right time.  Thank you for insisting that I come to Nashville to record this album.  Thank you for introducing me to Paul & County Q.  Thank you for the Songwriter’s Tour of Nashville.

Paul Scholten, Nick “Ace” Lutz & County Q

Danny & Liz –  for your grace, love, wisdom and beauty.

Gale G.  Thank you for being so supportive and the best friend I could ever hope for.

Richard T. – Great job with the www.kleenmusic.com website.

Rick O. (my sponsor) – Thanks for keeping my alive, kleen and sane enough to complete this project.  I would not be here if it were not for you.  You saved my life (many times).

John I., Adam A., Dave H., Mark T.  (My sponsees).  I love you and a grateful for all the goodness you bring to my life.

Julie & Chris & Robert & Christin – You know why.

Katherine Karen Streho-Ball-Gentry-Moran-Worrell (1936 – 2008) – Just This Morning.  I am glad you got free.  Your love and spirit is infused into every song on this album.

MJ, Tracy, Alivia, Peggy, Miller, Joe Bryant, Dane, Amanda Star, Natalie, Jennifer, Sarah – and all my other Facebook Friends who have supported this project from Day 1.

Thank you to all the attendees and players at all the Just for Tonight’s who listened as we showcased these songs.

Most of all, thanks to HP and the thousands of people in THE ROOMS who have conspired over these past 25 years to carry a message to me and keep me alive.  I hope this album does you proud because it is my testament to the death of the lie:  We Do Recover!
